Performance Requirements of POF Shrink Film

Due to the different processing and manufacturing methods of POF shrink film compared to general films, and its unique heating shrink packaging application, there are extremely high performance requirements for the film itself.

Low shrinkage temperature: to enable end users to increase packaging speed and reduce packaging costs.

Wide operating temperature range for shrinkage: to improve film adaptability, allowing the film to easily adapt to various new and old designs of shrink packaging equipment without the need for significant adjustment of packaging conditions.

Appropriate shrinkage rate and shrinkage force: Different packaging contents may require different shrinkage performances to match, which must be adjusted using formulation and processing conditions.

High heat sealing strength and hot tack strength: For high-speed fully automatic packaging equipment, higher hot tack and heat sealing strength are particularly important, as they can effectively reduce packaging leakage rates.

High mechanical strength: Higher tear resistance, puncture resistance, and impact resistance can reduce packaging leakage rates and provide higher protection for contents.

High transparency and surface gloss: Making the packaged contents look more aesthetically pleasing, enhancing product attractiveness, and stimulating consumer purchasing desire.
